APPLICATION PROCESS
The search for the next provost of Kuyper College is being led by a committee of faculty and staff from across the college. The committee’s task is to review and screen the applicants through written materials, interviews, recommendations and reference checks. In addition to selected candidates being interviewed by the search committee and other members of the leadership team, the final interview will be conducted by the Board of Trustees upon the recommendation of the president.
The search will remain open until the position is filled. Ideally, a final candidate will be presented to the Board of Trustees at their spring (May 2013) meeting.
If, after carefully and prayerfully considering this opportunity, you are interested in being considered for this position, we invite you to contact us and submit the following application materials:
• A letter of interest.
- Highlight any information that you feel would be particularly helpful in determining your fit with the provost position at Kuyper College.
- The letter should also include a description of your Christian faith development and commitment and how it will be reflected in your academic leadership at Kuyper College.
• A current resume or curriculum vitae.
• Links to any publications or other media of which you are the author or in which you are featured.
• The names, positions and contact information (telephone and email) for six references.
- At least three should be from an academic setting and knowledgeable enough of your career to comment on your suitability to serve as the provost of Kuyper College.
- At least one should be from your current employer, preferably your supervisor.
- One should be from your pastor or a church leader who knows you well.
- References will not be contacted until after we have received specific permission from you to do so.
