Vintage Photos of Factory Assembly Lines

If you are anything like us, then the following collection of vintage photos of factory assembly lines should keep you occupied in a state of gawk and awe for a fair amount of time. The first 2 start out with about 14 Jaguar D Type’s under construction at the Coventry factory sometime before February 1957 when a fire destroyed 9 of them that were being converted to XKSS street versions. The most famous of those, of course was Steve McQueen’s which Peterson Museum recently took out to stretch it’s feline legs.
