I am in your professional circle on Linked In. I am a Baroda (Gujarat) based soft skills coach. I am writing to you about ‘Project Wisdom – Smart Students Program a soft skills development program we have created for students.
A recent article in ‘The Times of India’ raises a very important question:
Is academic excellence a true measure of one's success in life? It further goes on to say that: High Marks May Not Guarantee Success!
It is because we need many other qualities like good interpersonal skills, communication skills, and many other soft skills to succeed in life. However; majority of educational institutes mainly focus on high academic performance. Hence, most of the students when they leave educational institutes lack these skills and are not really employable.
With this in mind, we have started a project called ‘Project Wisdom – Smart Students Program’ specifically for students to enable them to widen their mindset, develop various soft skills and also improve their interpersonal skills. Some of the workshops conducted under this project are:
