Invitation for 23rd National Competition for Business Management Simulations (NMG-2014)

Dear Sir/Madam,
Can your Faculty Members take on Corporate Managers this year in NMG-2014?
It gives us immense pleasure to announce the National Management Competition for Business Simulation for 2014 (NMG-2014). Every year we sow the seed of ‘Attitude for Business’ in participants with the mission of building citizens that contribute towards growth in revenue of their SBUs/organizations and the therefore the country. The 23 year old competition has been primarily designed for Corporate Managers, however, at this point of time we feel that the faculty fraternity might have a lot to learn and explore in the competition as well. The mission therefore stands clear, Simulation must be extended to all that can in turn contribute towards the growth of any kind of an organization. We are also reducing the fee substantially especially for faculty members to make it easier for decision makers.
Over 130 teams (of four) participated from various Corporate Houses in NMG-2013. I am happy to enclose a copy of the Flier/Brochure delineating the salient features of the Competition. Besides winning cash prizes, trophies & goodies the participants will learn:
  • To take a synoptic view of a company's operation
  • To work as a cross-functional team
  • To understand the importance of team work under trying business situations
  • To run a company in a simulated environment without causing damage to a live company
  • To form strategies for taking the company ahead of the competitors
  • To understand the financial implications of the decisions taken
The Champion Team and the First Runners Up in NMG - 2014 will represent India at the Asian Management Games (AMG) and later at Global Management Challenge-2015. It could be a unique opportunity for your faculty to brush shoulders with star Managers from various organizations across the country. We certainly want your teams to learn, win and  represent India Globally. Winners from the faculty fraternity will be an achievement to savor in the history of NMG and certainly a thrust in encouraging our faculty to start thinking about Education as a business that needs to create a mark Globally, something amiss largely from the Indian Education Industry.
We encourage you to bounce the thought internally and if it fits in the future vision of your institute then we shall we happy to see your teams fight it out in the NMG.
Note: Fee for Corporate Managers, approximately Rs. 25,000 (+ST) per team, for Faculty Members, Rs. 11,900 (inclusive of taxes) per team.
