Rajiv Gandhi National Institute for Intellectual Property Management (RGNIIPM) is a Central Government Institute under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry engaged in conducting Training, Awareness programs on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) i.e.  Patents, Designs, Trademarks & Geographical Indications, Copyrights. Such IPRs are considered as a barometer of R&D activities, encourages technology transfer, national / foreign direct investments & helps in technological / industrial development. But it is often observed that many inventors are losing the chance of obtaining Patents for their inventions by commercially using or publishing their invention in newspapers or scientific and technical journals and such inventions are thus remain unprotected and lose their exclusive rights, similar for other IP rights. Therefore, RGNIIPM provides “Training on various IPR” to create awareness about IPRs.
Accordingly, you may apply to participate in the training or may depute officials from your organization to understand the procedures.

Intellectual Property mainly consists of:-
Patents:Patent is an exclusive right granted by the Government to the applicant for his disclosed invention of product or process which should be new, non-obvious, useful and patentable as per the patentability criteria laid down in the national law. Patent offers technical solution to a technical problem.
Designs: Protecting any shape, configuration, pattern, color, and the creations of the appearance of industrial products.
Trade Marks: Trademark is a visual symbol in the form of word, name, logo, label  etc. as applied to an vendible article, with a view to indicate origin of manufacture or service or vendor in that respect and enable customers to distinguish the product of one manufacturer from the goods of the other.

ENGlobal Reports Second Quarter 2015 Results

HOUSTON, Aug. 6, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ENGlobal (Nasdaq:ENG), a leading provider of engineering and automation services, today announced its financial results for the second quarter ended June 27, 2015.
HIGHLIGHTS OF CONTINUING OPERATIONS:
  • Revenue of $21.1 million,
  • Gross profit margin of 21.9%
  • Net income of $0.03 per diluted share
Revenues in the second quarter of 2015 were $21.1 million, a decrease of 22.5% from $27.2 million in the prior year period. ENGlobal reported net income of $1 million, or $0.03 per diluted share, for the quarter ended June 27, 2015, compared to net income of $1.6 million, or $0.06 per diluted share, for the quarter ended June 28, 2014. During the quarter ended June 27, 2015, the Company incurred non-cash expenses for depreciation, amortization and stock compensation of $0.5 million as compared to $0.7 million for the same period in 2014.
Management's Assessment
Mark Hess, ENGlobal's Chief Financial Officer, said: "We are pleased to report today's profitable results-which I'm proud to say represents six consecutive profitable quarters. ENGlobal's profit margins remain respectable given the current environment, and our available capital has improved over the last year. The Company continues to maintain a healthy cash balance and working capital of $25.4 million, and we have no borrowings under our current credit facility."
