Dear Sir/Madam,
Greetings from FLAME University!!!
FLAME Center for Case Development takes pleasure in announcing that
FLAME University in association with ET Cases will be organizing an
‘INTERNATIONAL CASE CONFERENCE’ and a ‘CASE WRITING WORKSHOP’ at its
picturesque campus in Pune, India from July 14-16, 2016.
FLAME’s International Case Conference (FICC) invites submission of
cases from varied disciplines such as Business & Management, Social
and Natural Sciences, Humanities and Arts. The scope of this Case
Conference is intentionally kept broad keeping in line with the FLAME
philosophy of liberal education. Academicians, trainers, researchers
and doctoral candidates from above disciplines are encouraged to
submit their cases for the conference so as to get rich feedback from
varied audiences to further enrich their cases. The detailed
guidelines for submission of case will be shortly available at
following link: www.flame.edu.in/flame-case- conference
The key highlights of our previous case conference (viz., blind
reviews of cases, ET Cases -FLAME Awards across several categories and
an opportunity to interact with, and learn from the case
writers/professionals from institutions like IITs/IIMs, ET Cases, Ivey
Publishing and Harvard) would continue in this edition of the
conference. The organizers would also facilitate publication of a few
selected cases with reputed peer-reviewed journals/case repositories.
We have planned to facilitate free mentorship on case writing to
novice and enthusiastic case writers. All such faculty
members/research scholars/professionals who may be keen on to write
cases, but as yet have little understanding of the craft of case
writing can avail of the above facility by timely sending in a case
abstract along with a request for mentorship as per the prescribed
deadline. They would be connected to a mentor. It is expected that
every such association would culminate into a ‘teaching case’ jointly
authored by the case mentor and the mentee. To seek any clarification
about this opportunity, please drop in a mail at:
manoj.kumar@flame.edu.in, niraj.mankad@flame.edu.in.
A Pre-Conference Case Writing Workshop will be conducted on July 14,
2016 for all those who desire to learn the craft of case writing. The
workshop will also be useful for the seasoned case writers to further
hone their case writing skills. The workshop will be facilitated by
expert case writers affiliated to renowned institutions/organizations
like IITs and IIMs.
A detailed brochure of the conference and the case workshop is
attached herewith for your kind perusal. The details of the conference
and the case workshop would also be available at:

Requesting you to please circulate this information to your contacts.
