When artists are truly talented, it may be hard to tell whether their work is in fact real or not. This can be said for Michael Zajkov, a talented Russian artist who creates dolls that are astonishingly beautiful and lifelike. Zajkov graduated from the Kuban State University of Russia and started his career working at a puppettheater, after which he participated in the "Art Dolls" expo in Moscow. He uses polymer clay to make his human-like doll creations, as well as glass for the eyes and French mohair for the hair. With his painting capabilities, Zajkov manages to bring his dolls to life - well, almost. Let's take a look at his work! See more of Michael Zajkov's work on Instagram. |
