Introduction
Objectives of the Training
These days most of the organizations are reporting their sustainability performance. Moving ahead there is a need to have internal processes and systems to manage the sustainability performance.
Designing and implementing Sustainability Management Framework (SMF) can help organizations align internal processes and systems and enable them to achieve their sustainability goals. One of the ways to design and implement SMF is through ISO 26000:2010, an International Standard on Social Responsibility.
The CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development (CII-CESD) has developed a training program on Design & Implementation of SMF as per ISO 26000. The training will familiarize the participants with the conceptual and practical guidance ISO 26000 provides to organizations for identifying the material issues and implementing policies and practices to address the same.
The main objectives of the training are to:
·         Familiarize the participants with core  subjects and issues organizations can focus on while developing SMF
·         Provide an understanding of how ISO 26000 can be used as a tool to design and implement SMF

SMF can be implemented by large and small organizations in the private, public and non-profit sectors. All core subjects mentioned in ISO 26000 are relevant to every organization, while all the issues might not be relevant. Therefore the programme targets all organizations interested in integrating sustainability into their business operations and enhancing their social and environmental responsibility as well as consultants and auditors working in this field.
Faculty Profiles

Shikhar Jain, Principal Counsellor, CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development, is responsible for training, advisory  and consulting services across a wide spectrum of Leadership, Strategy & Governance related aspects on sustainability, Sustainability assurance, Integration of management systems as per various ISO standards, sustainability reporting & sustainability management framework. 
Shikhar represents the CII in various committees and working groups such as Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), New Delhi, AccountAbility (AA), UK, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and has been involved with development of international standards ISO 26000, GRI G4 Guidelines & AA 1000 SES on Stakeholder Engagement.
Has 20 years of consulting experience and have assisted over 100 clients on various consulting assignment and as lead trainer conducted over 300 trainings.   

Ms Jyotsna Belliappa - A Sustainable Development professional with 25+ years’ experience in strategizing and implementing Sustainable Development projects spanning social, environmental and livelihood issues. More than 15 years’ experience in conducting social audits as per internationally accepted norms for leading multinational retailers across India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Business management and Economics graduate with experience to interact across a range of stakeholders – Governments, Ngos, Boards, Corporations, Associations and employees.
A Performance and Business Coach trained on the International Coaching Federation coaching competencies who has coached many a middle and senior professionals reach their potential in professional life.
Presently associated with Marks & Spencer and CII –Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development, The CSR Company for implementing the Sustainable Management Framework programme based on ISO 26000- Guidance on Social Responsibility in 8 Garment manufacturers across India, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh.
Registration details
Delegate Fees (Incl Service Tax)
·         Use the attached registration form to send in nominations.
·         Number of delegates is restricted to 25. Registration will be confirmed on first-come-first served basis.
·         The programme is non-residential, and prior registration & payment of delegate fee before the training is a must.
·         Participation fee is non-refundable. However, change in nomination is acceptable
·         Cheque/DD should be drawn in favour of Confederation of Indian Industry, payable in Chennai.
