Dear Sir / Madam
༯span>
Greetings from Vishwakarma Institute of Management (VIM) !!
༯span>
VIM invites Academicians, Research Scholars, Practicing Professionals, Policy Makers, Entrepreneurs & Management Students to its 4th National Conference during 22-24, February 2013 at Pune.
The conference provides an opportunity for the individuals from academia, research and industry from different domains of business to exchange their views and share the experiences on the conference theme of 㼢 style>Emerging Challenges for Businesses in a Borderless World伯b>
The 4th National Conference on "Emerging Challenges for Businesses in a Borderless World" aims to build upon the momentum created by the success of earlier 3 conferences which fostered a gathering of renowned researchers, academicians as well as corporate leaders.

Conference Theme:༯span>
Major changes in communications and information technology; great and rapid progress in transportation; international institutions and agreements; strong commitments to globalization, etc., have resulted to a significant economic and financial interconnectedness between nations and markets, which in effect have created a わRDERLESS WORLD伯b> Capital, Technology, and Information do not have nationalities anymore. They flow essentially freely in and out through national borders. It has changed business frameworks drastically all across the world.
Businesses have facilities across the globe, they have joint ventures in several nations, their managers crisscross the globe, and they source materials from several continents and sell in markets all over the world. Consumers around the world can drink Coca-Cola and Pepsi; eat at McDonaldⳠand Pizza Hut; see movies from Mexico, England, France, Australia, and China; and watch CNN and MTV on Toshiba and Sony televisions. The products you consume today are just as likely to have been made in India, China, Korea or Germany as in North America. However, too few managers consciously try to set plans and build organizations as if they saw all key customers equidistant from the corporate center. Whatever the trade figures show, home markets are usually in focus; overseas markets are not. Effective global operations require a genuine equidistance of perspective. But even with the best will in the world, managers find that kind of vision hard to develop确d harder to maintain. Poor vision has consequences. It may be unfamiliar and awkward, but the primary rule of equidistance is to see确d to think秬obal first.
It is against the backdrop of these signals that emanate from nations, economies and cultures that the theme of Emerging Challenges for Businesses in a Borderless World is extremely relevant.
Original contributions in form of Research Papers, Articles, Case Studies and Literature Reviews, etc. are invited on the conference theme & indicative areas within the tracks based on the theme.
