INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP ON COST REDUCTION STRATEGIES

The Need
The motto of any business activity is to make more and more of outputs and profits out of less and less of inputs and costs. The profit of any business is derived from the surplus of revenue over cost. The revenue is under the total control of external factors such as supply-demand, market conditions, competitors etc. At the same time, the costs are spiralling on an unpredictable pattern, affecting the profit considerably. The only way to survive in business is to manage, control and reduce the costs within the business. This is really a challenge, in the current competitive business scenario. To address this small issue which can make a big difference in any organization’s revenue CII Chennai Zone is conducting this One day workshop on Cost Reduction Strategies to help the SMEs and Large industries to work out better strategies for cost reduction.
Target Audience
Departmental / Sectional Heads
Supervisors/Mangers from Finance departments & various functional areas.
METHODOLOGY
Lectures (through Power Point Slides), Case Discussions and Business Games. The discussions will be in Simple English combined with Tamil for better understanding of the concepts. The last session will be devoted for discussing the specific problems relating to the participating group.
Faculty
Dr M M Balasubrahmaniam, Director & Chief Consultant - COPE, will be the Faculty Leader for the above training workshop. He has a professional expertise in the field of training and development for more than 40 years and has to his credit more than 1,000 interactive workshops on various management topics for various business organisations in India and overseas.
