1. In awareness whatever is chosen will be beautiful. In awareness whatever gets done is divine.
2. The world arouses your sensual pleasures in a thousand ways, and simultaneously raises moral taboos against arousal. The result is guilt. Provocation and guilt hollow the mind and sap away its strength. The only way is to avoid both provocation and guilt. Catch yourself being provoked, tempted and ashamed in ways subtle and gross.
3. Itching and scratching at different places again and again cannot be called as widening of experience.
4. Wherever you are standing, the door is right there. Just enter. Searching is a trick to avoid entering.
5. Maya is the notions implanted in the mind of how things must be.
6. Going beyond the physical conditioning happens by living in a physical way, living in the most natural way possible.
7. Existence gave you the body but you gave yourself the society. Existence gives you fruits and vegetables, society gives you recipes. Being bound to recipes your taste buds and senses become crude and lose their capacity to sense the subtle.
8. The entire universe comes together as the body. Let the body be; don’t try to control it, don’t impose morality upon it, don’t be afraid of it. To be afraid of the body is to be afraid of existence.
9. You don’t need to take care of the body. Your care is just a concept. Drop all the concepts and the body knows how to take care of itself.
10. You use the phrase ‘animal nature’ wrongly. Violence, disorder, greed, stupidity, ego – all these are your social nature, not your animal nature. Animal nature is simple, beautiful, and one with existence. Drop your social nature, rediscover your animal nature.
11. Just realise how much you pay to ensure that you are kept in bondage. Those in the markets of commerce, religion and progress are selling bondage, and we pay to gladly buy and retain bondage.
12. Let the stupid ones own territories; you own your mind. Reclaim your mind. They have occupied your mind through greed, deception and fear. Now fight back to take what is yours. This is the only battle worthy of being fought.
13. Mind is a trader that always makes bad deals. It tries to sell away something that cannot be given away, and it bargains to buy something that cannot be useful. It trades away the essentials- love, freedom, simplicity in exchange for illusions of acceptance, pleasure and security. Hence there is only suffering in each trade, in every action of the mind.
14. All slavery is artificial as freedom is your essential nature. All artificial is slavery because freedom is your essential nature.
15. What is depression? Only He is High. The one whose mind is not in contact with That alone, whose life is not centered around that High peak, will always find himself down. This is depression – an outcome of the ego’s refusal to surrender to the High. Depression means that the Highest is unknown to you.
16. There is no substance in laziness. Laziness is just a trick of mind to avoid doing what it is not conditioned to do. Ego finds pleasure only in its deep patterns. Whenever there is an opportunity to act outside the patterns, one starts feeling lazy, or uncomfortable. The mind never feels lazy doing what it is conditioned to be pleased with.
17. You are fond of saying that the ego drops only when it reaches its climax and becomes ripe. But this game of climaxing is just a trick of the ego to sustain itself. One never reaches the climax of the ego; one is already and always at the climax of ego.
The ego will not ripe in the future, the ego is already fully ripe. To realize that twenty-four hours and seven days, one is hundred percent ego – is to reach the climax of ego. The climax and the dissolution both are together in the depth of realisation.
18. Our choices are the reflection of the quality of the mind.
19. One forgets wisdom somewhere along the ways of mind. One attains to wisdom by watching the ways of existence.
20. Social conditioning begins with the clever objective of freeing man from physical conditioning. Social conditioning will not help you get rid of physical conditioning. Going beyond physical conditioning happens by having the faith to live in a purely physical way.
21. Our faces look like they are produced in an assembly line. All look exactly the same. There is no depth in them. All appear very shallow and very alike. Real beauty lies in a face which has fought battles. A face which is raw. A face that has scars of life. A beauty that is untouched by all the battles and all the scars.
22. The mind looks only at what it is getting. It doesn’t look at the complete picture. It doesn’t see what it is losing in order to get. Realize the price you’re paying to get paid while remaining in bondage. Then you will be ready to pay any price for freedom.
23. Don’t run away. Where will you go? The rascals are everywhere. Don’t succumb to greed. Don’t fall prey to fear. The mind is your own territory. Reclaim it. Fight with all your might. No half measures. This is the only battle worth fighting. Reclaim the mind.
24. To meditate is to be at a point where parallely two non-events are happening.
One: There is no need for mental activity.
Two: Even though there is no need to gather knowledge, yet all is known.
25. Meditation is knowing without the need to know.
26. No amount of knowledge is ever sufficient. It brings with it a craving for more. Knowledge cannot give you contentment.
27. No amount of knowledge about peace will give you peace.
28. Knowledge that is external is always prone to doubt. The thinking mind is always trying and never reaching.
29. What can the mind secure? Just our chains. The chains are secured by all our mental activity.
30. Thoughts want nothing but security and continuation in the future.
31. Thought has only one function: to secure the thinker. The thinker by definition is insecure. So thought has one function: to secure your insecurity. It does that perfectly. Thought secures your insecurity.
32. Why this useless exchange of words? Like armies exchanging bullets! Meditation can be shared only through meditation.
33. The material mind always want to accumulate knowledge. But material cannot capture the subtle. So, accumulation of knowledge never ends.

36. You attain your nature only in meditation. Then the magical happens, knowledge-less knowing happens.
37. The acquirer of the knowledge is himself the bondage.
38. Meditation cannot be explained through words. Meditation can be explained only in meditation. Words are corpses.
39. Meditation has to be continuous. Like breathing. Unflinching, unhindered, constant, still, stable.
And it must be a very dynamic and flexible, lively flow of the right response to the moment.
40. The right response to the moment is the meditation technique. The right meditation technique can come only from your own meditation.
41. We all have a magical pocket in our coats. Put your hand in it and you get precious gifts. But the magical pocket is only for those who neither earn, nor need anything.
You need to have no doership, you need to be choiceless. You need to have absolute faith. That magic, that grace is available only to those who do not ask for it, nor need it.
42. Meditation and the method for meditation: You get it when you’re not demanding it. And when do you not demand it? When you already have it.
So what comes first? The chicken or the egg? Don’t ask silly questions, just meditate!
43. Mind is at best a collection of habits. Habits are not nature. Patterns are not nature.
The nature of the mind is No-mind.
What is the real mind? The no-mind!
44. When you are absolutely sure of your fighting, the fighting is divine.
Problem is not the fight, but our lack of sureness.
45. Drop your concept of the ultimate. Accept what you get with humility.
Where there is Truth, there is no concept.
46. Have a non-sticky mind, like a non-sticky vessel. A mind where much cooking may happen yet nothing sticks. And better still, have a non-sticky, inverted vessel in which not only stickiness, but even the possibility of accumulation is ruled out.
47. Had you just been an aggregate of conditioning, you would never suffer. There is That something else that acts against the aggregate. That acts for the dissolution of all sufferings.
Painless suffering or suffering-less pain, choose wisely.
