CII Southern Region Annual Regional Meeting 2015 & Related Events

Confederation of Indian Industry – Southern Region is organising its Annual Regional Meeting 2015 on 17 & 18 March 2015 at Hotel Taj Coromandel, Chennai. Coinciding with the Annual Meeting,  following events are being organised:

17 March 2015	1730-1830 hrs	Session on “Sustaining Entrepreneurship in Family Businesses : Challenges and Strategies” by Prof K Ramachandran, Executive Director, Thomas Schmidheiny Centre for Family Enterprise, The Indian School of Business (ISB)	The Session on Sustaining Entrepreneurship in Family Businesses will discuss in detail on the challenges faced and strategies needed to sustain and grow the Indian family businesses.
17 March 2015	1830-2000 hrs	Fifth Edition of CII-SR Regional Emerging Entrepreneur Awards 2014-15	To recognise and celebrate the role models in entrepreneurship, CII has initiated the Emerging Entrepreneur Awards. The award seeks to nurture, cherish and recognise first generation entrepreneurs from the South Indian States who have exhibited compelling potential to scale up to national and global players
18 March 2015	1100-1330 hrs	CII-SR Annual Regional Meeting - Public Session on Entrepreneurship – Enabling Make in India	The Government of India launched the ambitious Make in India Campaign in September 2014. Entrepreneurship has to play a pivotal role for the campaign’s success. Also, in order to create a conducive environment for growing business, Ease-of Doing Business is imperative. The Public Session of the Annual Regional Meeting is a Session on ‘Entrepreneurship – Enabling Make in India’.  Entrepreneurs, government officials and leading think tank would be joining and sharing their perspectives on how entrepreneurship can help deliver Make in India..
