About the Author:

Prof. R K Singal has done his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Kurukshetra University and specialization in the design of steam turbines from Russia. He has industrial, research and academic experience of more than 50 years in India and Abroad. He has worked with multinational industries and academic institutions of international repute. He has worked as director of engineering colleges and has taught at IIT, NIT, Bombay University, UPTU and other Universities. He has authored many books and research papers in national and international journals. Recipient of many awards and honours, he has also been decorated by the President of India.
