| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Dear VIJAY PITHADIA, When we think about the ‘future,’ it always seems to revolve around new technologies. This makes sense, new technology does help make life easier, for the most part. New technology is a key player for the future of the plastics industry, but it’s not the only driving force. After all, it always comes down to people, right?
The PlasticsToday team might not be experts in fortune telling, but we have put together stories that give a measurement for where the industry is going, including interviews with many key players in the industry. Specifically you'll find:
- Nearshoring: A closer look at manufacturing in Mexico
- NPE2015 preview
- Key market trends within the automotive, medical and packaging markets, along with a report on bioplastics and the moldmaking and injection molding sectors
- The trend of machine suppliers offering the one-stop shop concept
- A study on the worker skills shortage
We hope you enjoy this analysis of the dynamic industry. If you have any feedback/questions/comments, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
