GTU Innovation Council Organizes 10th Patent Clinic Program to assist students and faculty, to file a Patent for their Innovative projects On 5th & 6th December 2014 (Friday & Saturday)GTU has started very unique program known as "Patent Clinic", wherein any faculty or students of BE/ME/M.Pharm, who possess innovative projects in their hand can participate in this Two days workshop to get assistance for patent filing. During these two days workshop, on Day-1 intensive Patent search will be done with help of experts. On Day-2, whosoever's invention is novel one, drafting and filing of Provisional application will be done with help of experts. GTU provides facilitation by means of expert support to all participants during these two days event, wherein participants do not have to pay any fees to GTU. Further, there is no liability on the participants side to give name of GTU anywhere in the patent documents. Rights of patent remain with the applicants only. So far GTU has organized 9 Patent clinic programs successfully, through which 47 patents have filed successfully. Find herewith brochure and circular of this event for your ready reference. Same has been uploaded on GTU web wide circular dated of 26.11.2014 We wish that maximum faculty/students should come forward to file their innovative projects/ concepts for Provisional Patent application. (NB: For provisional patent application, it is not mandatory to have live model of project/prototype or complete data set of invention. Only if idea/concept is there on that basis Provisional can be filed) Circulate these among your faculty members and students, who would like to file their Provisional Patent application. |
