Greetings from MICA!

MICA has announced a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘Advanced Business Research and Analytics’. The five-day FDP will be held from 12-16 May, 2014 at MICA campus in Ahmedabad. I would be happy if you could please suggest this FDP to faculty and scholars who you think will benefit from this programme.

The MICA FDP on ‘Advanced Business Research and Analytics’ will be useful to the faculty in Humanities/Arts/Management Institutes to upgrade their existing understanding and more importantly for the faculty aspiring to do their Ph.D. for further career advancement.   In addition to this, participants from corporate who are desirous to pursue their Ph.D. to enter into academics at a later stage will also benefit from this FDP. 

The MICA FDP on ‘Advanced Business Research and Analytics’ will provide hands on experience to the participants in understanding the process of conducting basic as well as advanced management research.  The participants will be able to learn in-depth use of statistical softwares that are widely used for conducting business research study.  At an advanced level, the participants will get exposure to various multivariate methods in research and understand advanced issues of research like understanding of econometrics, concept of heteroscedasticity, structural equation modelling etc.  Though other methods like qualitative research will also be covered, however, the primary focus will be on survey research. 

The  FDP will be led by Dr. Rasananda Panda and Dr. Rohit Trivedi.

Rs. 10,000/- per participant  
Plus 12.36% service tax
