Meet Some of the Young Sikh Film Makers
 Satdeep Singh won 3 consecutive first prizes for the SikhNet film festival for "The Forgotten Truth", "Born To Lead", and "Five Folds". He has set a new bar for production quality for all Sikh filmmakers. These films also gave him the experience and encouragement to pursue a film career. He has won at other film festivals, and now has a feature length Punjabi film (Proud to be a Sikh) being screened by request. |

 The adorable Sahejleen Kaur showed off her acting abilities in "Beti" at a very young age. She then went on to act in "Panj Kahaniyan" for the film festival. Because of this experience and exposure, she was cast in the professional Punjabi film "Chhevan Dariya". |

 Jatinder Kaur & Navpreeth Kaur started a genre of Sikh action films with "The Warrior" in 2008 and then "Outlaw" in 2009. They amazed us with their professional special effects editing in the latter, boasting the first ever light-saber gatka fight. Since then, they have started their own media production company (5 Rings Productions) that does amazing event filming/photography. |

 Angad Singh moved on from the SikhNet film festival to win a top student film maker award, and get many prizes at other film festivals. He has made 3 inspiring, personal documentaries films; "One Light", "Roots and Wings", and "(Ex) Changed". He is proud to be a film-maker and activist. |

| This year, the winners of the SikhNet Youth Online Film Festival will be decided by the Internet community using a special voting system that will allow YOU to vote for the prize winners. We are excited about this new judging change and believe it will create a lot of excitement for both the audience and the filmmakers. |
