Sustainability is a defining challenge of the 21st century. Through earthian, we aim to build capacity for critical and holistic thinking and action within schools and colleges. Like each year, based on the entries we will select 20 institutes for the three year continuing engagement program (CEP).
We now invite schools and colleges to participate in earthian 2013. It is more than just competition and awards...For more details, please check www.wipro.org/earthian

earthian for schools:This year we will explore this question by doing various activities on water in your school, analyse and document them and write an essay highlighting its interconnections to other areas of life. Through the activities we will study the sources of water, the usage of water and the test the quality of water in the school campus.
The earthian website has an Activity Booklet and a series of videos that will help you participate and submit your entries. There’s lots of time to do this as the last date of submission is October 11th 2013.

earthian for colleges: Open for colleges in India and abroad, we invite teams to explore various dimensions of any of the sustainability challenges - climate change, water, biodiversity, water issues or the alternative movements in many regions...And yes, challenge and explore the position and approach of sciences and solutions we see around us.
