Infinite Email Addresses
Your Gmail account doesn’t just come with one email address assigned to it, but with a literally infinite number of potential addresses that you can use.

It’s a simple trick that can save you a lot of time and headache. However, some newsletters and sites have grown wise to it and don’t allow users to sign up with email addresses that have a “+” in them. Still, it will likely work on many of the sites you do need to register on.
Undo Send
Gmail, like most webmail services, has a strange quirk where sent mail is not immediately pushed out. Since all of the accounts share a single outgoing server, it is instead queued to go out and there is a delay of a few moments, barely noticeable but also very useful.
By enabling Undo Send in your Gmail Labs, you can take advantage of this feature and never accidentally send an email again. Once an email is sent, you’ll have about 45 seconds to cancel it. Not enough to stop a bad email if you realize the mistake an hour later, but more than enough to catch an accidental press of the “Send” button or if you realize you made another mistake.
In short, you can stop a large percentage of your email mistakes by setting up this feature and having a quick trigger finger.
Canned Responses
Another labs feature, Canned Responses is a powerful tool for anyone who sends out the same or very similar email repeatedly.
Basically, Canned Responses lets you create templates for your email and then either reply or start a new message with that template. This is great for sending out forms, stock responses on any other correspondence that is largely the same from conversation to conversation.
Gmail Interface, Your Email Address
Finally, Gmail has the ability to send and receive email at any account that you have. So long as you have POP3 access to the account, Gmail can both send and receive email at that address.
There are actually several ways to do this. The simplest is to have Gmail check your account and then send mail as it, which it can even do using your existing SMTP server. You can also have your existing account forward a copy of your email to Gmail, which requires only moments to set up at your existing account.
However, if you want to completely eliminate the middle man and simply have Google host your email, you can set up a free Google Apps account for your domain and use Gmail as if it were your local email server, complete with IMAP and POP3 access to your mail.
No matter which solution you choose, this lets you have Gmail’s interface, spam filtering and ease of access at any email address you choose.

ભ્રષ્ટાચારનું મુખ્ય કારણ જ અન્ધશ્રદ્ધા છે
‘હું બ્રહ્મા, વીષ્ણુ અને મહેશને ક્યારેય ઈશ્વર માનીશ નહી’ બાબાસાહેબ ડૉ. આમ્બેડકરે આવી પ્રતીજ્ઞા લેવાનું શા માટે કહ્યું ? બાબાસાહેબે એટલા માટે કહ્યું કે બ્રાહ્મણોએ લખેલ પુરાણો માત્ર અને માત્ર કલ્પીત કથા, ગપ્પાં અને બનાવટી વાર્તા છે અને એટલા માટે બ્રહ્મા, વીષ્ણુ કે શીવને ભગવાન માની પુજા કરવાની જરુર નથી. બાબાસાહેબ બ્રાહ્મણોએ લખેલાં પુરાણો અને વેદની કથાનું એક ઉદાહરણ આપે છે. આપણે અહીં તે ઉદાહરણ વાંચી અને પછી વીચારીએ કે આને ભગવાન માની શકાય ખરા ? પુજવાલાયક છે ખરા ?
પદ અને સત્તાનો સંઘર્ષ બ્રહ્મા, વીષ્ણુ અને શીવ આ ત્રણેય દેવતાઓ પુરતો મર્યાદીત હતો. તેમને કોઈ ત્રીજા દેવતાથી નીચેની કક્ષામાં મુકવામાં આવ્યા ન હતા; પરન્તુ એક સમય એવો આવ્યો કે તેમને એક શ્રી નામની દેવીથી નીચેની કક્ષામાં ગણવામાં આવ્યા હતા. આમ કેમ થયું ? તે આ ‘દેવી ભાગવત’માં વર્ણવવામાં આવ્યું છે.
દેવી કે શ્રી નામની દેવીથી સમ્પુર્ણ જગત ઉત્પન્ન થયું. આ દેવીએ બ્રહ્મા, વીષ્ણુ અને શીવને ઉત્પન્ન કર્યા, ‘દેવી ભાગવત’ પ્રમાણે દેવીને પોતાની હથેળીઓને મસળવાની ઈચ્છા થઈ. હથેળીઓ મસળવાથી એક ફોલ્લો ઉઠ્યો. તે ફોલ્લામાંથી બ્રહ્મા પેદા થયા. દેવીએ તેને પોતાની સાથે લગ્ન કરવાનું કહ્યું – બ્રહ્માએ ઈન્કાર કર્યો; કારણ કે દેવી તો તેમની મા થાય ! દેવી ક્રોધીત થયાં અને બ્રહ્માને ભસ્મ કરી દીધા. દેવીએ બીજીવાર પોતાની હથેળીઓ મસળી, ફરી ફોલ્લો થયો અને તેમાંથી બીજો પુત્ર પેદા થયો વીષ્ણુ. દેવીએ વીષ્ણુને પોતાની સાથે લગ્ન કરવાનું કહ્યું. વીષ્ણુએ પણ એ જ કારણસર ઈન્કાર કર્યો. દેવીને ક્રોધ થયો અને વીષ્ણુને પણ બાળીને રાખ કરી દીધા. દેવીએ ત્રીજીવાર હથેળીઓ મસળી અને ફોલ્લો પડ્યો, જેમાંથી શીવ પેદા થયા. દેવીએ શીવને પોતાની સાથે લગ્ન કરવા કહ્યું. શીવે કહ્યું કે, ‘હું તને બીજો દેહ ધારણ કરાવું પછી લગ્ન કરું.’ (જેથી બીજા દેહ સાથે લગ્ન કરી શકાય.) દેવી આ માટે તૈયાર થયાં.
ત્યાં શીવની દૃષ્ટી રાખના ઢગ પર પડી. દેવીએ કહ્યું, ‘મેં તારા બન્ને ભાઈઓને બાળીને ભસ્મ કરી દીધા છે; કારણ કે તેમણે મારી સાથે લગ્ન કરવાનો ઈન્કાર કર્યો હતો. ત્યારે શીવે કહ્યું કે હું એકલો કેવી રીતે લગ્ન કરું ? આપ બીજી બે સ્ત્રીઓ ઉત્પન્ન કરો, જેથી અમારા ત્રણેયનાં લગ્ન થઈ શકે. શીવના કહ્યા પ્રમાણે દેવીએ બીજી બે સ્ત્રીઓ ઉત્પન્ન કરી. આમ ત્રણેય દેવ–દેવીઓનાં લગ્ન થયાં.

પૌરાણીક કથા–વાર્તા અને ભગવાનો અને તે અંગેનાં (ઉપર કહ્યાં તેવાં અવૈજ્ઞાનીક) લખાણો પ્રતીબન્ધીત થવાં જોઈએ. કુકડા ઉપર કે વાઘ ઉપર 8-10 હાથવાળી સ્ત્રી ગદા, ખડ્ગ, ત્રીશુળ, તલવાર વગેરે લઈને દેવીરુપે બેસે તેવું માત્ર ચીત્રમાં જ હોય, વાસ્તવમાં ન હોય.
તરવૈયાની જેમ એક હાથમાં ગદા અને બીજા હાથમાં મોટો પહાડ લઈને આકાશમાં ઉડતા હનુમાન પણ માત્ર ચીત્રમાં જ હોય, વાસ્તવમાં ન હોય. આવા અનેક પ્રકારના માઈથોલોજીકલ ભગવાનોનાં ચીત્રો બનાવવાં, વેચવાં, રાખવાં ઉપર પ્રતીબન્ધ લાવવાની જરુરત છે. આવા કાલ્પનીક ભગવાનોએ અન્ધશ્રદ્ધાનો ફેલાવો સમાજમાં ઉધઈની જેમ કર્યો છે. તેથી જ આખા દેશમાં ખુણેખાંચરે નાના–મોટા અશોક જાડેજાઓ ફુલ્યા–ફાલ્યા છે. આ બધું વસ્તીવધારાનું પરીણામ પણ છે. એકના ડબલ કે એકના ત્રણ ગણા કરવાની લાલચ ગરીબ પ્રજામાં હોય જ અને ગરીબી વસ્તીવધારાને કારણે છે. વધારાની વસ્તી પેરાસાઈટ્સ–પરોપજીવી જ હોય.
સસ્તામાં સસ્તું (સબસે અચ્છા– સબસે સસ્તા) મનોરંજનનું સાધન સેક્સ છે. ગરીબ માણસ વાઈડ એંગલમાં જઈ ન શકવાથી નેરો એંગલમાં ચાલ્યો જાય છે. પછી તેણે તો ‘દેવના દીધેલા’ કહીને તેની પોતાની જવાબદારીમાંથી છુટી જવાનું જ રહે ! આમ ને આમ વસ્તી ત્રણ ગણી થઈ જવા પામી છે. 40 કરોડની આજીવીકા જેટલું પણ ઉત્પન્ન ન હોવાથી 120 કરોડને ખવડાવશો શું ? હવા ? આવી ગરીબ ભુખી, અર્ધશીક્ષીત વસતીના દેશમાં લોકશાહી ? લોકતંત્ર ? ચુંટણી ? જનાદેશ ? સંસદ ? પ્રધાનમંડળ ? લોકતંત્ર જેવું કશું હોતું નથી, જે હોય છે તે રાજતંત્ર જ હોય છે. લોકતંત્ર શબ્દ તો ઠગારો છે.
દેશનો સળગતો પ્રશ્ન છે વસતીવધારો. વસતીવધારાને નાથવામાં ન આવે ત્યાં સુધી બધું જ નકામું. ચુંટણીઓ તો આવે ને જાય. બધા દાટ વાળે. વસતીવધારા પછી બીજો મુખ્ય મુદ્દો છે પર્યાવરણનો. સમજાય છે ? કોઈ અમસ્તુ વૃક્ષો નથી કાપતું, કોઈ અમસ્તું પાણી નથી ઉલેચતું. વસતી એટલી બધી છે કે પીવાના પાણીનાં પણ ફાંફાં છે. પર્યાવરણ માટે પાણી જરુરી છે. આખી વસતી સહેલાઈથી ડુબી મરે એટલો વીશાળ દરીયો છે; પણ એ પાણી તો મરવા માટે કામનું છે. જીવવા માટેનું પાણી તો જમીનમાંથી જ ઉલેચવું પડે. પર્યાવરણ જમીન ઉપરની જીવસૃષ્ટીનો વીષય છે. રામાયણ, મહાભારત, સુન્દરકાંડ, સત્યનારાયણ કે એવી માઈથોલોજીકલ કથાઓ કહેતા કથાકારોને મુંગા કરો ! આ બધી કથાઓ, વાર્તાઓને ‘આપણી સંસ્કૃતી’ કહેતાં પણ શરમ આવવી જોઈએ.
કૈકેયીમાં લટ્ટુ દશરથે તેની માગણી સામે વીટો વાપરવાને બદલે પોતાના મોટા પુત્ર રામને 14 વર્ષના વનવાસની સજા કરી. કહેવું પડે ! આવું તો ઘણું છે. આનાથી ઉલટું, રામે ગામના એક ધોબીના બોલવાના આધારે પોતાની પત્ની સીતાને જંગલમાં ધકેલી દીધી. કહેવું પડે !
મહાભારત કથા વળી આને પણ માથે પછાડે એવી છે. ધર્મના અને ભગવાનના નામે ટીલાં–ટપકાં કરીને કથાકાર આવી કથાઓ કરીને લાખો–કરોડો રુપીયા ભેગા કરે છે અને તેમાંથી ધન્ધાદારી મન્દીરો બનાવે છે. સરદાર પટેલે જે રીતે ફટાફટ દેશી રાજ્યોનું વીલીનીકરણ કર્યું એ રીતે બધા જ પ્રકારના કાલ્પનીક ભગવાનોનાં મન્દીરોનું વીલીનીકરણ થવું જોઈએ. પથ્થરની કે માટીની મુર્તી બનાવી તેમાં પ્રાણપ્રતીષ્ઠા કરવાનું બહુ મોટું ડીંડક ચાલે છે. મન્દીરોમાં આવી મુર્તીઓ સામે હાથ જોડીને બધા ભીખ માંગે છે અને તેના બદલામાં તેને લાંચ આપવાનું વચન આપે છે. મન્દીરમાંથી શીખવા મળેલો ભ્રષ્ટાચાર નાબુદ કરવાની વ્યર્થ ઝુંબેશ ચલાવવામાં આવી રહી છે. મહાત્મા જ્યોતીરાવ ફુલે‘ગુલામગીરી’ નામના પુસ્તકમાં લખે છે, ‘વીદ્યાના અભાવે મતી નાશ પામી, મતીના અભાવે નીતી નાશ પામી, નીતીના અભાવે ગતી નાશ પામી, ગતીના અભાવે ધન નાશ પામ્યું, ધનના અભાવે શુદ્રોનું પતન થયું – માત્ર એક અજ્ઞાનતાને કારણે જ આ બધું થયું.’
